Cameroon Regional Training Workshop on Artisanal and Small-scale Mining

The ACP-EU Development Minerals programme sponsored six (6) participants out of a total of 50 key stakeholders to attend a regional training workshop on Artisanal and Small-scale Mining hosted by the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development on 26 February-01 March 2018 in Yaoundé. The six sponsored participants were drawn from the programme’s participating countries in Central and West Africa namely: Benin, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger and Togo.
The integration of the Development Minerals sector in the training curricula informed the development of Return-to-Work plans on ASM Policy formulation that incorporate Development Minerals.
