Guinea Workshop to review and validate the Baseline Assessment Report of Development Minerals in Guinea

Eighty (80) participants drawn from all key stakeholders in Guinea’s Development Minerals sector (public, private, academia, civil society, financial services sector, the EU Delegation in Guinea and UNDP) participated in aworkshop that reviewed, validated and endorsed the Baseline Assessment Report of Development Minerals in Guinea, which took place on 14 February 2018 in Conakry. All 80 participants provided input into the report, and endorsed it, citing the crucial role of the Report in informing the diversification of Guinea’s mining sector as well as in supporting the aims of Guinea’s National Development Plan.
