Guinea Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshops on Environment, Community, Health, Safety; Enterprise skills, market analysis and value-addition of Development Minerals

A country-level training of trainers and peer educators workshop on Environment, community, health, safety; Enterprise skills, market analysis and value-addition of Development Minerals was undertaken in Guinea. N’Zérékoré in the Guinée Forestière region played host to this workshop that brought together a total of forty (40) participants drawn from artisanal and small scale mine operators, local government officials, representatives from the Ministry of Mines and Geology.
These trained trainers and peer educators elaborated and are currently implementing an Action Plan on how they will further undertake mine-site level training and awareness raising for the artisans and small-scale miners in the Development Minerals sector.
