Guinea Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshops on Environment, Community, Health, Safety; Enterprise skills, market analysis and value-addition of Development Minerals

Kankan in Haute-Guinée hosted a country-level training of trainers and peer educators workshop on Environment, community, health, safety; Enterprise skills, market analysis and value-addition of Development Minerals in Guinea. A total of forty (40) participants comprised of artisanal and small scale mine operators, local government officials, representatives from the Ministry of Mines and Geology took part in the training.
These trained trainers and peer educators elaborated and are currently implementing an Action Plan on how they will further undertake mine-site level training and awareness raising for the artisans and small-scale miners in the Development Minerals sector.
