Blueprint for a National Formalization and Business Acceleration Strategy

The Blueprint for a National Formalization and Business Acceleration Strategy was developed to guide the successful implementation of the artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sector. It uses a phased approach, beginning with a National Formalization Strategy. This strategy, built around nine strategic objectives, aims to overcome long-standing challenges and facilitate the formalization of ASMs, transforming them into sustainable ASMEs. Following formalization, a Business Acceleration package is implemented, featuring twelve strategic objectives designed to ensure the successful development and long-term sustainability of these ASMEs. Legalization is specifically addressed within this business acceleration phase.
