The ACP-EU Development Minerals Programme trained 36 national consultants under the Supplier Development Initiative to support small businesses and miners as suppliers to large-scale mining. The initiative is piloting partnerships with five small-scale mining cooperatives and ten women-led businesses to supply silica to Mopani Copper Mines, strengthening inclusive and sustainable local supply chains.
