Baseline study on Development Minerals in Burkina Faso

This is a report of the baseline study conducted on the artisanal exploitation of Development Minerals in four regions of Burkina Faso: Hauts-Bassins, South-West, Boucle du Mouhoun, and Centre-Sud. It includes a census of key actors and assessments in selected municipalities such as Dano, Diébougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Boromo, Toécé, and others. The study focused on materials like laterite, sand, clay, and granite, providing valuable insights into the state of artisanal exploitation while leaving room for further exploration of additional quarries and materials in the region.
