Baseline study on Development Minerals in Far North and West Cameroon

The study carried out an inventory of Development Minerals exploitation sites in the Far North and West Cameroon regions to ensure the sustainable restoration of mining areas. This study focused on four target areas (Pitoa, Mora, Maga, and Foumbot) to examine factors influencing land restoration. These factors include land use, land and tree ownership, the role of women and minority groups, cultural and religious aspects, historical context, and current land restoration initiatives related to mining.
